Kambo Immersion

Lake Atitlán, Guatemala

January 9 - 11, 2024
Do you feel the Call?

The Call deep inside your bones, that says that you are meant for greater things?

That there is more to life than what we've been told?

Have you been feeling ready for an initiation into the unseen realms?

Are you ready to experience the ancient healing power of ceremony?
Are you ready to reclaim the vitality and alignment that is your birthright?

What is Kambo?

“Kambo",  also called “Sapo”, is the skin secretion of the giant waxy monkey tree frog (phyllomedusa bicolor) found in the lower basin of the Amazon. For thousands of years tribes have worked with it to cleanse and invigorate mind, body, and spirit. Kambo originally is estimated to have been used by as many as 53 tribes, and in present day is now also administered around the world by practitioners for various purposes.

Traditionally, Kambo is used to dispel ‘Panema’, bad luck, increase "hunting magic", and for attracting a partner.

For the modern person, Kambo may help support the clearing of dispirited energies that come from misalignments in thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors. Kambo may help bring back a vitality and clarity that people were not even aware they were without. This can often be liberating, allowing one to be more in their power and acceptance of life.

In the Amazon Kambo is also used by tribes as a remedy for snake bites, malaria, fevers, infections, fertility problems, and many epidemic illnesses.

In the modern world two decades of scientific research has produced several studies on the bio-active peptides in Kambo, showing the effects they have on numerous illnesses like Cancer, HIV, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer's, Chronic Fatigue, Autoimmune, Diabetes, Arthritis, Chronic Pain, and Depression.

More information about Kambo, contraindications and what to expect will be shared before your screening call.

“Ceremony is the way we

remember to remember.”
- Robin Wall Kimmerer

Our practitioners have extensive training and experience holding space and working with Kambo, plant medicine and other shamanic modalities.

Kambo is currently being studied for over 30 of its bioactive peptides which, among other things, have been shown to be useful in modulating the immune system and delivering an analgesic effect more powerful than morphine.

Kambo is known for cleansing the liver, gallbladder, and lymphatic system of toxins and to be effective against viral, yeast and bacterial overgrowths.

Our Kambo experiences have provided us with a “warrior energy” -- in other words, an increased ability to relax and focus in the face of stress, that lasts for several weeks following treatment.

Have you been working on yourself  for a while and feel ready to go deeper?

Do you have patterns, traumas or blocks that you are ready to let go of but don't know how?

Have you been looking for a way to heal not only on a physical, but also on an emotional and spiritual level?

What if you could remember your power and resilience in a way that carries over to your everyday life?

Kambo is an initiation and it is not easy.

It is a powerful spirit and medicine best approached with great respect. Kambo is regarded as an “ordeal medicine” and with good reason. We want to be perfectly clear that the experience, while lasting only 20-40 minutes, is quite intense, and not for anyone simply looking for another experiential notch on the belt, so to speak.

It is also helpful to remember that Kambo is not a psychedelic or entheogenic medicine. The experience is a beautiful ordeal and a deep experiential reminder that you never get more than you can handle.

As one works with Kambo, they often find that surrendering to the process allows them to release significant energetic, emotional and mental blockages.  Sometimes, as one learns to surrender to the process and Kambo, the once uncomfortable process can become surprisingly pleasant.

Many have already journeyed with us.

Here is what they have to say:

"This experience transformed my connection to self, other, and with the divine. Kambo allowed me to release in a way I didn’t know I was capable of. It awakened a deep sense of gratitude that I have been trying to cultivate for years. It brought me back into my body, and left me more open to love and trust than before. The experience itself was challenging and intense, I was thankful on the last day, and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat."

Erica E.

"THANK YOU KAMBO!!!!! Trust is a word I don’t use lightly especially when it comes to something that could affect me physically, chemically, emotionally. Alasdair, Julie-Roxane and Kelly deserve and have earned my complete trust. I gave them that trust with deciding to do this and they held it with such love and tenderness and commitment. This experience and their presence will forever be felt in my life as it allowed me to reach areas of myself I had resolved were just not going to be reached. Are you looking to push yourself and open up those blocks and want a safe place to be absolutely vulnerable and held? Then here is your invitation."

Jason B.

"Kambo was genuinely inspiring. Alasdair and Julie-Roxane are incredible facilitators and guide you through the experience with immense love, care, and compassion so that you always feel safe. There are no other facilitators that I trust more than Alasdair and Julie-Roxane."

Kyle S.
